Job summary

Autism FIRST in Warrenton, VA is seeking an in-home, part-time Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA guidance. You will work in-home and in community settings, following treatment plans and tracking progress with accurate data.

The role requires 1 year ABA experience, a valid driver’s license, active RBT certification (preferred), and availability for two weeks of onboarding training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of ABA experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel locally between clinic and in-home sessions.
• CPR certification required - reimbursement after first 90 days of employment.
• TB test required.
• Proof of auto insurance required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and respond quickly for client safety.
• Background screening required.
• Active RBT certification strongly preferred.
• Enrollment in BCBA or BCaBA coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in-home and approved community settings.

Pay: $22 - $29 / hour

Schedule Availability Requirement: Part-Time, Monday - Friday between 4pm - 7pm (schedule varies within this window based on client needs) and Saturdays are required.

Required Training Availability: All new hires must be available for two weeks of onboarding training, which includes:

• Virtual sessions from 9am to 1pm
• In-person shadowing from1pm to 4pmor4pm to 7pm
