Job summary

Astra ABA in Maxton, NC seeks a Behavior Technician (BT) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes under BCBA supervision. You’ll implement treatment plans, use ABA techniques, and help children build communication, social, and adaptive skills.

Responsibilities include data collection, same-day SOAP notes, collaborating with BCBAs and families, and maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA and BACB Ethics Code for RBTs. Training and flexible scheduling are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification or willingness to obtain (covered by us).
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances.
• Experience with high levels of tantrum behaviors.

As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will play a vital role in providing individualized ABA therapy in a home setting, supporting children on their journey to realizing their full potential.

About the Role

As a BT, you will:

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in their home setting, implementing treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision.

• Experience

• Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET) to support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.

• Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes.

• Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members.

• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs only and company policies.

Requirements
