Job summary

Astra ABA in Greenville, NC is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) to empower children through one-on-one ABA therapy in home settings. You will implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision and help children develop communication, social, play, and academic skills.

The role offers evenings and weekend hours: Monday to Friday 4:00 PM–7:00 PM; Saturday 3:30 PM–6:30 PM; Sunday 4:30 PM–6:30 PM (weekends negotiable).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in an in-home setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home settings.
• Implement treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision.
• Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET).
• Support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.
• Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes.
• Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members.
• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
• Adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs only and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required.
