Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Training is provided; candidates without prior experience are welcome.

Pay ranges from $20 to $26 per hour; opportunities for growth and a structured career path are available.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification and TB test required.
• Able to pass preemployment background check.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
