Job summary

The Center for Human Services in Kirksville, MO is seeking a Behavior Technician to implement ABA-based therapy under the supervision of a BCBA and to help clients increase daily functioning and independence.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 6 months in developmental disabilities, and the ability to pass a background check; RBT credentialing within 90 days is expected. 35 hours weekly, daytime shifts, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• At least 6 months experience in developmental disabilities or related field.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a background check.
• BT-Credentialed through BACB within 90 days to become an RBT.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Document daily notes and report updates to the BCBA.
• Maintain accurate data collection per treatment plan.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
• Develop relationships with caregivers and communicate progress.
