Job summary

Bierman Autism Centers is hiring a Behavior Technician (RBT) in New Jersey to provide one-to-one ABA therapy to children aged 2–12. You will implement skill acquisition and behavior support plans, document progress, and collaborate with parents and the BCBA.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift and carry clients up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to restrain/hold/transport and follow the Behavior Support Plan as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with clients.
• Follow prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
• Collect and record data and write therapy notes for each session.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress.
• Assist BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials.
• Attend required trainings and stay current with BACB guidelines.
• Work toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) if not already.
• Maintain a positive, collaborative working environment with the team.
