Job summary

Centria Autism in Randallstown, MD is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children who have autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We offer comprehensive training; no prior experience required. Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, be able to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB testing, pass a background

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification required within 45 days of onboarding.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with moving in various positions (sit, stand, bend, squat, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance to reduce interfering behaviors.
