Job summary

Aiken County Public Schools is hiring a Behavior Technician (8 Hours/185 Days) to support elementary students with social/behavioral skills and behavior reduction protocols based on Applied Behavior Analysis.

You will collect data, assist with parent training, and implement behavior plans while supporting teachers and staff across district schools. Position is 185 days with an 8-hour workday and requires RBT certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED with 60 college credits, or passing ParaPro; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must meet Highly Qualified standards and be RBT certified or willing to complete RBT training.

Responsibilities

• Implement specific behavior plans.
• Collect data related to interventions and student responses.
• Utilize data and reports to improve behavioral aspects of students.
• Provide training and support to teachers and staff.
• Travel to Aiken County Elementary Schools for interventions as needed.
