Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Behavior Technician in Los Angeles to work one-on-one with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities, helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills. You will participate in ABA plans designed by board-certified analysts and collaborate with families and supervisors to support client progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College credits preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/BLS Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and eager to learn.
• Comfortable using technology for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities
• Help clients build communication, social, play, and daily living skills
• Implement ABA behavior Treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Encourage progress and celebrate meaningful milestones
• Track client progress using a mobile application
• Collaborate with BCBAs, supervisors, and families to support client success
