Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities in a flexible part-time role in Los Angeles, CA. You will help build communication and daily living skills under supervision of BCBA clinicians.

Paid training and certification support are provided, with opportunities for ongoing mentorship and career growth within a national healthcare organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children preferred, but not required.
• CPR/BLS Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Comfortable using technology for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Help clients build communication, social, play, and daily living skills.
• Implement ABA behavior Treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Encourage progress and celebrate meaningful milestones.
• Track client progress using a mobile application.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, supervisors, and families to support client success.
