Job summary

Centria Autism in Michigan seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism by implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will work one-on-one, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to stand, move, and lift up to 50 pounds. Pay range is $17-$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and a TB test within required timeframe.
• Willingness to obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one instruction under BCBA guidance to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills with evidence-based techniques.
• Work to reduce interfering behaviors and support family goals.
