Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges.

Compensation includes hourly pay between $23 and $27, weekly paychecks, and benefits like PTO, health, dental, vision, 401(k) savings, and tuition reimbursement options. Morning, afternoon and evening shifts available, with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development, or 1 year experience with children in related roles.
• Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
