Job summary

MN Care Services seeks a Behavior Technician to provide compassionate, client-centered support in group home or individual settings. The BT will follow care plans, document activities, and assist with daily living skills.

This role may involve 1:1 or 2:1 staffing and requires strong de-escalation and data collection abilities. Responsibilities include transporting clients, coordinating with care teams, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED plus 3+ years in behavioral, residential, or mental health settings.
• Strong documentation and data-tracking abilities are required.
• Ability to work as part of 1:1 or 2:1 care teams with supervision as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plan and complete documentation like shift notes and medication administration reports.
• Collect accurate data to drive positive behaviors per the care plan.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living and skill-building tasks.
• Advocate, support, and empower individuals through targeted training.
• Assist with decision-making and community involvement; transport as needed.
• Maintain professional relationships and adhere to policies including HIPAA.
