Job summary

Total Education Solutions (TES) is seeking a Part-time Behavior Technician to support clients in home, school, or clinic settings within the San Gabriel Valley (El Monte & Duarte). The role offers flexible scheduling with potential to grow to full-time based on availability.

Paid training and mentorship are provided from day one, with supervision by experienced BCBAs. Responsibilities include direct care, implementing ABA strategies, and collaborating with families and educators to foster skill

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Access to a mobile phone and basic internet for offsite work.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and minimum 25/50k auto liability coverage.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations.
• Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check.
• Current TB Test.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to clients.
• Implement behavior strategies using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Support skill development in communication, socialization, play, motor skills, self-help, and school readiness.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to create positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and plans.

What You’ll Do:

Work Environment & Physical Qualifications

• Support is provided in a variety of settings such as homes, schools, or clinics
• Ability to work in settings with moderate to loud noise levels
• Comfort working with individuals who may display a wide range of behaviors and needs
• Could include the following physical demands : significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
