Job summary

Total Education Solutions, Inc (TES) in Troy, MI is hiring a Behavior Technician for afternoon/evening shifts (3pm–7pm). You will work one-on-one with amazing kids on the autism spectrum, applying ABA strategies under supervision.

This role offers growth opportunities, strong mentorship, and a pathway toward RBT certification. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be willing to pursue the RBT coursework.

Behavior Technician - Part Time (Afternoons/Evenings 3pm-7pm)
$19 - $23.99/hr *Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

Not registered as a Behavior Tech? Don't worry, we provide supervision for those working towards their RBT certification.Newly hired Behavior Techs will receive a pay increase upon the successful completion of the required Behavior Technician coursework and exam (usually within the first 90 days of employment).

Expectations:

• Learn specialized behavior approaches and implement behavioral strategies under the guidance of a Case Supervisor
• Help to improve students' communication skills, social skills, play skills, motor skills, self-help skills, school readiness skills, and self-management skills
• Maintain accurate records through daily documentation of student progress and adherence to prescribed behavior plan
• Work collaboratively with the client’s parent, teacher, and other allied specialists to implement positive interventions

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Willingness to take the RBT course and exam
• Access to a mobile phone (for email) & basic internet (if working offsite)
• Auto Insurance (minimum of 25/50k liability coverage) and have the ability to travel to multiple locations
• must clear IChat

Environment & Physical Qualifications:

• Varied work environments, including classrooms, clinics, and homes
• Moderate to loud noise levels and physical demands may vary
• Working with individuals exhibiting diverse behaviors and needs
