Job summary

Total Education Solutions (TES) is seeking a Behavior Technician in the San Fernando Valley area for flexible, part-time work (10–20 hours per week) with potential growth to full-time. No experience required; paid training and mentorship provided.

Responsibilities include providing direct care, implementing ABA strategies, and supporting client development while collaborating with families and educators. Must have a HS diploma and valid driver’s license; background checks and CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mobile phone access and basic internet for offsite work.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• Must pass DOJ/FBI background check.
• TB test and CPR/First Aid certification required.

• Support skill development in communication, socialization, play, motor skills, self-help, and school readiness.

Pay Range: $19.50 – $25.13/hr*
*Based on experience, education, certifications, and second language use (50%+ of the time)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct care to clients

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Access to a mobile phone (for email) and basic internet (if working offsite)
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance with minimum 25/50k liability coverage
• Ability to travel to multiple locations
• Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check
• Current TB Test
• CPR/First Aid Certification

Work Environment & Physical Qualifications

• Support is provided in a variety of settings such as homes, schools, or clinics
• Ability to work in settings with moderate to loud noise levels
• Comfort working with individuals who may display a wide range of behaviors and needs
• Could include the following physical demands : significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
