Job summary

Total Education Solutions (TES) is hiring Behavior Technicians for part-time roles in the San Gabriel Valley (El Monte & Duarte) with a path to full-time as flexibility allows.

No experience is required; TES provides paid training and mentorship from day one, with opportunities to grow and advance in the ABA field. Compensation ranges from $19.50 to $25.13 per hour based on experience and bilingual abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Access to a mobile phone and basic internet for email (if working offsite).
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and minimum liability coverage.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations.
• Must pass DOJ/FBI background check and TB test.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to clients.
• Implement behavior strategies using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Support skill development in communication, socialization, play, motor skills, self-help, and school readiness.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to create positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and plans.

What You'll Do:

• Ability to travel to multiple locations
• Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check
• Current TB Test

Work Environment & Physical Qualifications

• Support is provided in a variety of settings such as homes, schools, or clinics
• Ability to work in settings with moderate to loud noise levels
• Comfort working with individuals who may display a wide range of behaviors and needs
• Could include the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
