Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the Fredericksburg/Stafford area. You will help develop social and communication skills and implement behavior plans under a BCBA's guidance.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in psychology or related field, or at least 1 year experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and reduce repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
