Job summary

Spartanburg County School District Two is seeking a Behavior Support Technician at Colley Springs-Fingerville Elementary School in Chesnee, SC. The BST will support students and staff by implementing behavioral interventions, de-escalation strategies and social-emotional learning activities across the school day.

The role reports to the principal with CPI training provided; shift is part-time up to 29 hours weekly, with a salary range of $20–$30 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Support general education teachers by modeling behavior strategies.
• Assist students with self-regulation and provide safe spaces to regain calm.
• Collect data on student visits, frequencies, durations and interventions.
• Share data with principals, teachers, special education staff and MTSS team.
