Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking a dedicated Behavior Support Technician to assist staff during crisis situations involving student behavior and mental health. The role includes conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, and implementing CPI strategies to promote student safety and educational access.

The BST will collaborate with staff and administrators, monitor student data, and participate in daily operations to foster a positive school climate and compliance with district policies.

Competenze

• Holds CPI training and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years experience working with student behavior.
• Knowledge of CPI strategies and behavior intervention planning.

• Adhere to state, federal, and local policies and procedures.
• Supervise students in classrooms and common areas.
• Provide one-on-one support to students in crisis using CPI strategies.
