Job summary

Charter One in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Behavioral Interventionist to assess student behavior and develop positive intervention plans. The role requires collaboration with campus teams to implement FBA-driven strategies and ongoing support for staff and families.

The candidate will lead Functional Behavioral Assessments, train teachers, and participate in MTSS and IEP processes to ensure effective behavioral programming for students needing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with behavior intervention.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA).
• Collaborate with campus teams to build Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP).
• Assist with transition, placement and planning of programming for students needing behavioral support.
• Train staff in behavior intervention practices and PBIS.
• Participate in MTSS, 504, IEP, and Behavior Intervention Planning meetings.
• Provide training to staff in behavior strategies.
• Other duties as assigned.
