Job summary

Deer Creek School District is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) paraprofessional to support students with behavioral needs at Deer Creek High School. You will implement predetermined interventions under supervision and collect data on student progress.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with students with special needs desirable.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

Identify students at risk for behavior problems by collecting data from multiple sources.
Within a collaborative team, select behavior interventions based on student needs.
Implement targeted supports and interventions with fidelity.
Collect and monitor data to ensure progress and adapt strategies as needed.
Collaborate with other Behavior Paraprofessionals across the district.
Supervise students in non-instructional areas and during field trips.
Assist with parent contact to foster involvement in education.
