Job summary

The Fulton County Schools seek a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) paraprofessional to directly implement behavior-analytic services under the supervision of a BCBA. The role supports classroom and home-based interventions, with the supervisor determining task scope based on training and competence.

Applicants should meet paraprofessional requirements and complete the 40-hour RBT training to obtain certification, working with students under supervision within the Tri-Cities High setting.

Qualifications

• Requires at least a high school diploma or GED with willingness to obtain RBT certification.
• Experience in classroom settings and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to protect confidential information and communicate well with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Behavior Interventionist with materials and data collection.
• Support behavior reduction assessments and skill acquisition plans.
• Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist with implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans under supervision.
• Complete required training including PCI physical management as directed.
