Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a Behavior Support Specialist to collaborate with teachers and leaders in in-district classrooms and standalone schools serving students with intensive behavioral needs.

You will implement PBIS-based strategies, develop behavior support plans, document incidents, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, inclusive learning environments. This is an on-site position with attractive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs.
• Emotional consistency and resilience to handle stressful situations.
• Flexibility and willingness to jump in to ensure safety and well-being of staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff to support students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Provide consistent monitoring and support across the school site.
• Assist in creating and implementing behavior support plans.
• Record and document incidents and progress toward goals.
• Utilize positive behavioral intervention and school incentive programs.
• Assist in de-escalation, crisis management, and safety procedures.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers.
