Job summary

FullBloom, via Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), is seeking a Behavior Support Specialist to collaborate with school staff and leaders in supporting students with intensive behavioral needs.

You will implement PBIS-based strategies, document progress, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including communicating with parents and participating in debriefs after challenging incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs.
• Emotional resilience to handle stressful situations with composure.
• Flexibility to support safety and well-being of staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff to support students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Create and implement behavior support plans.
• Record, track, and document behavioral incidents and progress.
• Utilize PBIS strategies and site incentive programs.
• Manage de-escalation, crisis situations, and safety procedures.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and communicate with parents.
