Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is hiring an assistant teacher to support small groups of students with diverse needs in our in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will collaborate with licensed teachers, implement SESI’s CASE/PBIS framework, monitor progress, and reinforce learning through data-driven instruction. Requirements include a high school diploma; college experience or a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction and implement the SESI academic rotational model.
• Partner with the teacher to provide customized support and assessments.
• Assist with large group activities, grading, and providing accommodations.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies and track progress.
