Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks an assistant teacher to support K-12 students requiring additional supports in in-district classrooms and standalone schools across our network.

You will work with diverse learners, implement SESI’s CASE PBIS framework, and help monitor progress, communicate with parents, and reinforce skills through data-driven instructional models.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with small group instruction and monitoring of student progress.
• Collaborate with the teacher to provide customized behavioral and academic support.
• Conduct formal and informal assessments and document student growth.
• Reinforce learning through one-on-one tutorials and assigned tasks.
• Support, document, and track student progress toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise students during transitions and accompany them to appropriate locations.
• Work with teachers and related service providers to address students’ needs.
