Job summary

Aspire Public Schools is seeking a School Support Manager to oversee behavior and academic supports for students at our CA campuses. You will manage resources, analyze program effectiveness, and collaborate with teachers, administrators and families to boost outcomes for at-risk students.

Responsibilities include coordinating multi-tier interventions, leading Restorative Justice initiatives, tracking data, and developing staff through supervision.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of effective conflict management and resolution strategies
  • Ability to creatively problem solve
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment
  • Ability to develop relationships across diverse backgrounds and lead with initiative
  • Supervisory experience and ability to develop coach staff in leadership
  • Understanding of how to interpret and use data to support key decisions
  • Knowledge of Ed Code and other regulations
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and familiarity with data tracking systems such as OnCourse
  • Knowledge of safety procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience working with urban youth in a school-setting
  • Experience with or knowledge of youth empowerment programs

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, manage and analyze behavioral support programs that build student success academically and socially
  • Coordinate and drive the 3 tiers of intervention programs for middle school students
  • Manage the Restorative Justice rollout and collaborate on academic interventions in classrooms
  • Coordinate and lead Restorative Justice Circles and Student Study Team meetings
  • Ensure individual student action plans are implemented and data gathered on intervention success
  • Initiate individual student incentive programs and implementation plans based on progress reports
  • Develop resources to support student plans, including toolkits for family engagement
  • Evaluate school-wide intervention programs by analyzing data and reporting findings
  • Support school-wide culture building that promotes cooperation and accountability
  • Assign, manage and develop advisory and safety team members
  • Serve as primary contact with contractors providing behavior support services
  • Participate in safety team efforts and school duties as needed
  • Demonstrate alignment with Aspire Public Schools’ mission and policies
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
