Alliance College-Ready Public Schools in Los Angeles seeks a Scholar Culture Liaison to support a safe, inclusive campus by supervising scholar activities and promoting positive behavior using restorative practices.

Role emphasizes de-escalation, early intervention, and collaboration with staff to implement social-emotional supports and tiered systems that foster accountability and belonging.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college; 2+ years in a related field.
• Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree may be considered even with limited related work experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Build developmentally appropriate, positive relationships with scholars.
• Supervise scholar activity areas during transitions, breaks, and lunch.
• Assist in general supervision with focus on discipline and behavioral expectations.
• Follow behavior incident reporting protocols to inform administrators.
• Implement universal Tier I interventions to prevent minor behaviors.
• Use least invasive interventions to promote positive culture.
• Develop relationships with parents, guardians, and community members.
• Maintain data for behavior systems and individual support plans.
• Support planning of school-wide behavior response systems and celebrations.
• Assist Dean andLeadership Team with incident investigations and documentation.
