Job summary

Assabet Valley Collaborative's Orchard Street Academy seeks a Restorative Justice Specialist to lead school-wide RJ practices and coach staff, students, and families. The role emphasizes relationship-building, equitable practices, and data-informed improvement of school culture.

You'll collaborate with the leadership team to plan, implement, and assess RJ initiatives, including coaching, mediation Circles, and support plans for students re-entry after incidents.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience utilizing/restorative justice in schools
• Certification in Restorative Justice or relevant experience
• Strong equity and inclusion track record
• Ability to facilitate difficult conversations with youth and adults

Responsibilities

• Models a relationship approach with students and staff.
• Collaborates with and provides RJ coaching for staff, students, and families.
• Coordinates and facilitates ongoing circles and mediations.
• Collaborates with leadership to develop RJ program implementation.
• Creates metrics to measure RJ implementation and inform interventions.
