Job summary

Centria Autism in Oregon is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented, with a willingness to participate in training.

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy for children with autism.
• Able to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Be part of a dedicated team, with provided training and ongoing support.
• Move and lift as required by tasks, up to 50 pounds.
