Job summary

Centria Autism in Wilsonville, Oregon seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one instruction. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided. We value patience, compassion, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors under the guidance of a BCBA.
