Job summary

Intercare Therapy is hiring School-Based Behavior Technicians to support students with autism using ABA. No ABA experience is required as paid training is provided.

The role is part-time, in school hours, with a focus on developing communication, social, and daily living skills in a classroom setting. You will work 1:1 with students, collaborate with families and teachers, and be part of a team that values ongoing supervision and early progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; lower-level coursework preferred
• Currently enrolled in college or pursuing an associate/bachelor’s degree encouraged
• Experience with children is a plus, passion for helping kids expected
• Bilingual skills are a bonus for family communication and support

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA-based support to students in school settings (training provided)
• Help students build communication, social, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and supervisors to ensure consistent progress
• Be part of a supportive team focused on meaningful student outcomes

Now Hiring: School-Based Behavior Technicians / ABA Behavior Interventionist for the 2026/2027 School Year

Pay & Schedule

• $20.25-$26.00 per hour
• Part-time role
• School day hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM availability required

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma Only + Below Items Preferred:

• At least one completed college course
• Currently enrolled in college
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license & insurance
• Passion for working with children (experience a plus!)
• Bilingual skills are a bonus
• Physical requirements: Active role including standing, bending, running, and lifting up to 50 lbs while engaging with children
