Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, health, or related field preferred.
• Intervention Specialist license preferred.
• Experience with at-risk or behaviorally challenged students desired.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of behavioral needs across age groups.
• Carry out FBAs, function-based interventions, and BIPs.
• Develop individualized behavior tracking and intervention programs.
• Participate on IEP teams and engage with students, families and staff.
• Collaborate with staff on crisis, learning, attendance, and development issues.
• Advise administrators, teachers, and parents on behavior modification solutions.
• Monitor attendance and work on Absence Intervention Plans.
• Maintain records consistent with school policies.
