Job summary

ACCEL Schools' Lincoln Park Academy in Cleveland, OH seeks a Behavior Intervention Specialist to support at-risk students with evidence-based behavioral interventions and classroom models.

You will collaborate with IEP teams, implement FBA/BIP, and promote positive school culture while maintaining thorough records.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience in a multi-cultural setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, health, or related field preferred.
• Intervention Specialist license preferred.
• At least three years’ experience with “at‑risk” or “behaviorally challenged” students.
• Ability to pass federal, state, and local background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge of Functional Behavior Assessments and behavior plans.
• Develop individualized behavior tracking and intervention programs.
• Meet with students requiring intervention and collaborate with IEP teams.
• Work with staff on crisis intervention and attendance-related issues.
• Maintain timely records and serve as a consultant to administrators, teachers, and parents.
