Job summary

Fayetteville Public Schools District is seeking a Behavior Intervention Specialist to support building administration and lead behavior interventions throughout the day.

You will collaborate with teachers, staff and families to develop and implement behavior plans, monitor student behavior, and document data to measure the impact of interventions, while maintaining FERPA confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Confidentiality and FERPA compliance required.
• Full-time position: 7.5 hours/day, 180 days/year.

Responsibilities

• Prevent crises and maintain classroom safety.
• Consult with Administrators, teachers, parents, and staff to support students.
• Develop and implement behavior plans with teachers and staff.
• Monitor student behavior and provide intervention activities.
• Assist students with homework, projects, and assignments; build positive relationships.
• Document data and meet to discuss impact of interventions.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with laws and regulations.
• Reports directly to the Principal and Assistant Principal.
