Job summary

Everman ISD is seeking a Student Support Services/ Behavior Specialist to provide direct behavioral support for students with significant needs district-wide. You will implement BIPs, support self-regulation, and use reinforcement strategies under BCBA supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain and maintain RBT certification within the district-designated timeframe.
• Successful completion of district-approved crisis prevention and intervention training.
• RBT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement BIPs and strategies for students with significant needs.
• Provide direct one‑to‑one or small group behavioral support.
• Support replacement behaviors, self‑regulation, and communication skills.
• Utilize reinforcement systems to increase positive behaviors.
• Collect, record, and report behavioral data accurately.
• Monitor progress toward behavioral goals.
• Follow district crisis de-escalation procedures.
• Collaborate with teachers, admins, and related service providers.
• Communicate progress with supervising BCBA.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
