Job summary

LEARN Academy is seeking a FACS Behavior Interventionist to provide direct school-based services aligned with individualized plans. You will collect data, implement behavior supports, and collaborate with the team to help students participate safely in daily routines.

The role requires calmness under pressure, willingness to receive coaching, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues. Training is provided, and benefits accompany full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; experience with students and challenging behaviors preferred.
• Crisis intervention experience preferred.
• Ability to meet Live Scan and TB testing requirements.
• Ability to meet the physical and safety requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavior intervention services in a school setting.
• Collect and document behavior data accurately.
• Use de-escalation and crisis interventions as trained.
• Implement reinforcement and cognitive restructuring strategies.
• Attend training, supervision, and mentor meetings.
• Support daily routines such as hygiene and toileting when required.
