Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, health, or related field preferred.
• Intervention Specialist license preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience with at‑risk or behaviorally challenged students in a multi‑cultural setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass federal, state, and local background checks.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding and respectful attitude toward behavioral needs of students across age groups.
• Provide expertise in FBA, function‑based interventions, and BIP development.
• Meet with students requiring intervention and develop individualized behavior plans.
• Serve on IEP teams and build relationships with students needing intervention.
• Collaborate with staff on crisis intervention, learning and collaboration issues.
