ACCEL Schools is seeking an Intervention Specialist at Northside Preparatory Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role focuses on supporting students with individualized education programs and ensuring a rigorous, nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and social-emotional development.

The candidate will work with teachers to interpret student needs, conduct assessments, and collaborate with families while upholding state standards and evidence-based practices.

Formación

• Experience in a full room inclusion or Co-Teaching model.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Outlook).
• Excellent organization and time management.

Responsabilidades

• Support educational and behavioral goals for all students, with emphasis on IEPs.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and functional behavior assessments.
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and create goals/objectives.
• Communicate with families about academic and social-emotional growth.
• Assist in planning non-instructional activities and events.
