Qualifications

• Current state teaching license.
• Experience in inclusive or Co-Teaching models.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Ability to work in a growth-focused coaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to interpret abilities and disabilities, assist in intervention strategies, modify curricula as needed, support regular class assignments.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments.
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write goals/objectives.
• Support goals related to student achievement and school culture.
• Use research-based practices in planning and instruction.
• Incorporate culturally responsive teaching into daily lessons and interactions.
• Advise a designated group of students.
• Communicate with families about student progress.
