Job summary

Owasso Public Schools seeks a Behavior Support Technician to provide behavior supports to students under the direction of the site principal. The role includes 1:1 and group interventions, collaboration with teachers, and consistent implementation of behavior protocols.

The incumbent will assist with transitions, maintain confidentiality, and participate in required training while supporting classroom success within the Owasso Elementary Schools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional college credits or para-professional testing options accepted.
• District-provided behavior training will be offered.

Responsibilities

• Under principal guidance, provide behavior supports to students in 1:1 and group settings.
• Collaborate with general education and special education staff to support interventions.
• Consistently implement behavioral interventions and communicate progress to staff.
• Assist with student transitions and classroom integration.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district policies and deadlines.
