Job summary

Wichita Public Schools seeks an Intensive Behavior Support Coach to collaborate with principals, educators, and staff to develop and implement behavior interventions and track data for students. This role focuses on supporting students with disabilities, de-escalating crises, and applying positive behavior supports in the least restrictive environment.

The coach will work to build partnerships, follow district policies, and maintain confidentiality while supporting student growth and progress

Qualifications

• Current KS teaching license with Special Education endorsement (Kansas categorical aide).
• At least 3 years of special education teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with behavior management plans and data tracking.
• Collaborate with principals, educators, and staff to support student behavior.
• Implement behavior interventions and de-escalation strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Monitor student progress and participate in trainings.
