Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking a Paraprofessional & Behavior Interventionist in Houston, TX to support students with special needs in 1:1 or small-group settings. You will work closely with lead educators, build rapport, and help foster a safe learning environment.

Role involves following supervision, possibly handling diverse scenarios, and completing required background checks. Training and ongoing development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with special needs in educational settings.
• Ability to follow lead educator directions and adapt to plans.
• Willingness to undergo state and federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support students with special needs in small group or 1:1 settings.
• Build rapport and create a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Assist lead educators and take direction as needed.
• Support various modalities of care for students as required.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
