Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers by reinforcing instruction to whole class, small groups or individuals.
• Assist students with adaptive equipment, daily living activities, and mobility.
• Administer first aid and monitor medical needs of students.
• Maintain records and collect data on student performance and behavior.
• Use strategies when working with students in crisis and participate in safe holds after training.
• Keep learning spaces neat, clean, and safe.
• Supervise students during structured and unstructured times.
• Communicate with teachers and staff about student progress and needs while maintaining confidentiality.
• Assist with bus boarding and departure.
• Carry out written and verbal instructions.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
