Job summary

Elmwood Village Charter School in Buffalo is seeking a Behavior Intervention Coach to lead behavioral support programs for students and staff. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• New York State Special Education Teaching Certificate is required/desired.
• Minimum 3 years as SPED teacher or related role.
• Experience with RTI frameworks and behavioral implementation (ABA preferred).
• Strong communication and data management skills.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, inclusive practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Behavior Support Plans with data collection.
• Provide tiered behavioral supports and coaching to staff.
• Collaborate with SPED team to monitor IEP goals and BIPs.
• Document incidents and compile monthly data reports.
• Lead professional development on positive behavioral management.
