Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with behavioral, emotional, or social challenges preferred.
• Knowledge of PBIS or trauma-informed practices preferred.
• CPI/Safety-Care or approved de-escalation certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students with behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans under the direction of certified staff.
• Assist students in developing self-regulation, conflict resolution, and social skills.
• Support students individually and in small groups to reinforce academic instruction and behavioral expectations.
• Monitor student behavior and collect behavioral data to support intervention planning and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success.
• Reinforce classroom routines and school-wide behavior initiatives (PBIS/MTSS).
• Maintain confidentiality of student records per FERPA and school policies.
