Job summary

Lakeview Center in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support counselors and nursing staff in residential, inpatient, and outpatient settings. You will help adults and children with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders by establishing supportive relationships and assisting with daily living activities.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, implementing interventions per treatment plans, ensuring safety, and coordinating with the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• CPR certification required or able to obtain.
• CPI training required or able to obtain.
• Ability to provide integrated mental health, substance use, and co-occurring services.

Responsibilities

• Establish a positive helping relationship with people served.
• Assist with daily living activities and access resources.
• Maintain health, safety and well-being of individuals.
• Implement interventions per treatment plan.
• Monitor and document progress of individuals served.
