Job summary

Dungarvin seeks a Clinician I to support adults with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health needs within an Adapted DBT program. You will deliver 1:1 and group sessions, align with behavior support plans, and coordinate with families and therapists.

You’ll work under supervision to implement individualized supports and may travel to community events. The role emphasizes crisis management, staff training, and documentation in Therap and Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; BA or AA in related field such as psychology preferred.
• Valid driver's license with ability to use personal vehicle on the job.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive.
• Must possess strong critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to work independently to problem-solve effectively.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 and group therapy sessions with up to 10 clients in the A-DBT program.
• Apply Positive Behavior Support to help clients achieve goals and improve quality of life.
• Plan and attend social events in the community.
• Provide training and support to direct care staff and operations team.
• Collaborate with in-home staff to support individuals in behavioral crises.
• Rotational on-call to provide crisis management support by phone.
• Write reports and case notes using Therap, Excel, and OneDrive.
• Coordinate with outside providers and clients’ families.
