Job summary

Missouri Department of Mental Health in Poplar Bluff is seeking a Lead Behavior Analyst to develop and oversee behavior support plans for residents in our crisis program. You will train staff, observe behaviors, and collaborate with teams to minimize restrictive interventions.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current professional license to practice as a Behavior Analyst in Missouri.
• BCBA certification is required.
• Strong observation skills are essential.
• Demonstrate professional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements behavior support plans for individuals enrolled in crisis program.
• Observes consumer behavior and completes initial behavioral assessments.
• Develops and implements training program for staff in the implementation of behavior support plans.
• Participates in joint behavioral support plan team meetings and provides professional feedback.
• Participates in consumer crisis team meetings.
• Provides behavioral support training and assistance to external stakeholders involved in transition to community settings.
